Best Exolyt Alternatives in 2026 (Free & Paid)

Knowing what is trending on TikTok is the easy half. The hard half is Thursday morning, when you have to decide which of those insights becomes a video, who films it, and when it goes out.

That is the lens for this list of Exolyt alternatives. We compared five real tools on one question: once your research shows you something worth making, does the tool give that idea a day, remind you before it, and keep it next to the analysis that justified it? Three of the five have a free plan, and we say which. We build one of them, so treat our description as interested and every fact as checkable. Every competitor fact below comes from that vendor’s own public pages, read on 17 October 2026. Prices move, so check before you buy.

What Exolyt does well

Credit first, because Exolyt is a serious product. We read Exolyt’s own site and pricing page today. It is a TikTok analytics and social intelligence platform: a full overview of any account, hashtag and sound analytics, social listening with sentiment analysis, brand comparison, influencer campaign tracking, and a content ideation area with trending content and AI-powered ideas.

The plans are generous on the collaboration side. Every plan includes 10 team members, unlimited folders and internal notes. Basic is free with no card and tracks 1 TikTok account and 1 hashtag with 7 days of chart history. Essentials and Advanced are priced in your local currency on the pricing page, so we will quote the tier names rather than a dollar figure. Advanced adds age and gender analytics, sentiment analysis and video transcriptions, with at least a year of history.

What we did not find on its pages is a content calendar, scheduling, publishing, reminders, or an API. That is “not advertised”, not “does not exist”. Exolyt is also TikTok only; Instagram is not listed as a data source. We compared the two products before on other axes: hook scoring with the reasoning in our Exolyt alternative, and the depth of a single video breakdown in Blossom vs Exolyt. This page is about what happens after the insight.

Why the plan should sit next to the research

A listening tool is built to answer “what is happening out there”. A creator’s week asks a different question: “what am I making, and when”. When those two live in different tools, the insight usually dies in the gap. You spot a sound picking up on Monday, you mean to use it, and by the time you sit down to plan, you have forgotten which video made it look promising and what you were going to do differently.

When planning lives in the same place as the analysis, that context travels with the idea. The card on Thursday still says where the idea came from and what you already decided about it. We wrote a longer piece on this in A Content Calendar That Survives the Week.

So of each option below we asked three things:

  1. Can an idea be put on a specific day, with a status that moves as it progresses?
  2. Does the tool remind you before that day, or push the plan into the calendar you already use?
  3. Does the plan stay connected to analysis of the content, or is it a separate scheduling tool?

One caveat covers every tool here, ours included. A plan makes you consistent. It does not guarantee any single video will travel. Our reasoning is in no tool can guarantee a viral video.

1. Blossom, for planning that stays attached to the analysis

This is ours. Blossom analyzes Instagram Reels and TikToks and files every video in its library into shared hook, format and tactic classes. The planning side sits right next to that.

  • An idea gets a day. It can land on the calendar straight from where you found it, such as a suggestion, an outlier video or a script you started, without retyping it into another tool.
  • It has two exits. You can score the concept before it costs you a shoot, or turn it into a script written from analyzed examples that already worked in your niche.
  • It has a state. Idea, then ready, then published, with archive as a real exit that keeps the thinking.
  • It reminds you. Two reminders fire before every planned item, one the day before and one a few hours before, and an item can go out to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.

For teams there is one more layer: a production board where each piece of content moves through script, raw material, edit, review and done, with each column owned by the role that does that job (creator, editor, consultant). To ground this in what the product returns today rather than in memory, we pulled our own board through Blossom’s MCP connection on 17 October 2026. It holds 14 cards: 2 at the script stage, 8 waiting in review and 4 done, with none overdue. Thirteen of the 14 carry attached material, from reference clips to delivered cuts, and one finished card records nine delivered cuts along with which one actually shipped. Nothing on that board needed a separate tool to track.

Now the honest part:

  • No free tier. Creator, Pro and Agency start with a 7-day trial that asks for a card. Starter ($9.99 a month) is billed from day one. The calendar is on every plan, Starter included, but nothing here is free, which is the clearest difference from Exolyt’s Basic plan.
  • The full loop costs more. Turning a calendar idea into a script starts on Creator ($39 a month). Scoring a concept before you shoot starts on Pro ($99). The production board with multiple seats is on Agency ($299). If you work alone, the calendar does the job by itself.
  • No YouTube Shorts. We cover Instagram and TikTok only.
  • Not a listening tool. Blossom does not do brand mention tracking, sentiment analysis or influencer campaign management. If that is your job, Exolyt is built for it and we are not.
  • Scripts, not footage. The calendar’s exit is a written script. You still shoot it.

2. Metricool, the free plan with analytics and a planner

Metricool is the closest thing on this list to “Exolyt plus a calendar”. It is a social media management suite with analytics, competitor monitoring, a planner and scheduling across many networks, TikTok and Instagram included. Its pricing page today lists a free plan for 1 brand with up to 20 scheduled posts a month, 30 days of analytics history and 5 competitor profiles. Starter is from $25 a month ($20 billed yearly) and Advanced from $67 ($53 yearly), with a custom tier above. Paid plans lift the post cap and add more brands.

What its pages do not advertise is per-video hook analysis, social listening of the kind Exolyt does, or a structural breakdown of why a video worked. It answers “when does this go out” very well and “is this idea any good” less. If you want a free calendar that publishes and still shows you account numbers, start here. We went deeper in Best Metricool Alternatives.

3. Buffer, the free scheduler with an ideas board

Buffer is a long-running scheduling tool. Its pricing page today lists a free plan with up to 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel, room for 100 saved ideas and insights with 30 days of history. Essentials is $5 a month per channel and Team is $10 a month per channel, each with a 14-day trial. Every plan includes a visual content calendar and a board view for organizing ideas. TikTok and Instagram are both supported, with automatic publishing for business and creator accounts and reminder notifications for Instagram personal profiles.

Buffer’s ideas board is a simple, honest answer to the gap Exolyt leaves: you can drop what you learned into an idea and turn it into a scheduled post in the same place. It does not advertise analysis of why a video worked. For a creator who mainly needs the plan and the posting handled, cheaply, it is hard to beat.

4. VidLabs, for a daily plan on TikTok

VidLabs calls itself a complete creator operating system. Its site today lists Plan My Day (daily, weekly or monthly planning around filming, editing and posting), a daily brief, a “my next move” suggestion, and calendar sync with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders.

Pricing today: a free plan with 5 credits a month, 5 free tools and a full notes workspace, with no card required (daily plans are not included on Free), and Pro at $39 a month (shown down from $69) with 150 credits and a 3-day free trial. The platform limit matches Exolyt’s: TikTok is supported today, with Instagram, YouTube and Facebook listed as coming soon. If you are TikTok-first and want a day planned for you, it is a strong pick. We compared it with Blossom in Best VidLabs Alternatives.

5. Exolyt, if listening is the job

It is fair to say: if what you need is social listening, sentiment, hashtag and sound tracking, and influencer campaign reporting on TikTok, Exolyt already does that, with a free plan to start and room for a team of ten. You can keep your plan in any calendar you already use. The case for switching only exists if you want the plan and the analysis of the videos themselves in one place.
