6 Best ViralHits Alternatives in 2026 (Free & Paid)

Your average post is the one you should least want to repeat. It is, by definition, the unremarkable one. Yet most tools that talk about “your account” measure you against exactly that: your average, your baseline, your typical result.

People looking for ViralHits alternatives usually want one of two things. Some like what it does (paste a TikTok or Reel, get a score and a breakdown, spot outliers) and want a free way in, a different price, or YouTube Shorts. Others want a tool that learns what is different about the posts of theirs that worked, not just how a post compares to their average.

The short answer: if you want to start at zero, Brika, PreAlgo, Viralo, Augur and Exolyt all have a genuinely free way in. If you want a durable signature of what separates your best posts from your worst, that’s the case we make for Blossom below, and it is the one tool on this list that costs money from the first day.

We build one of the six, so treat our description as interested and every fact on the page as checkable. Everything here was read from each vendor’s own public pages on 9 October 2026. Prices move, so check before you buy.

What ViralHits actually does well

Credit first, because ViralHits is a focused, well-made analyzer. According to ViralHits’ own site, you paste a TikTok or Instagram Reels link and get an AI score out of 100, automatic tags for industry, format, hook type and remixability, a niche-saturation read, and a second-by-second walkthrough of the hook, pacing and visual cues. It treats TikTok and Reels with equal depth.

Its outlier detection finds videos performing 10 to 100 times a creator’s average, and the FAQ says outliers are scored on first-day growth, performance against the creator’s last ten posts, and niche saturation. On Pro, you also get competitor tracking, a brand remix that turns a viral hook into a script in your brand’s voice, and a weekly brand advisor that diagnoses what’s working, what to stop and the next move, built from your own posts. Scale adds a REST API, CSV export, n8n and Slack or Discord webhooks.

Pricing on the day we checked: Starter at $19.99 a month (up to 5 tracked accounts, 10 collection saves, 1 seat), Pro at $49.99 (25 tracked accounts, unlimited collections), and a custom Scale plan. Yearly billing saves 40%. There’s an “Analyze a video free” link, but no free plan is listed on the pricing page and its limits aren’t described.

We’ve compared ourselves to ViralHits twice before, on turning analysis into a plan you can post from and on tracking a video across drafts. This page is about a third axis: what a tool knows about your account.

Average versus differential

There are two ways to describe what works for an account, and they give opposite answers more often than you’d expect.

The first is the average. Take everything you’ve posted and summarize it: your typical views, your usual pacing, your most common tone. Score each new post against that baseline, and flag the ones that beat it by a wide margin. This is useful, and it’s what outlier detection does well. It tells you that a post broke out.

The second is the differential. Split your own posts into the ones that worked and the ones that didn’t, and ask what is over-represented in the first group compared with the second. This tells you why your winners were winners, in terms you can repeat.

The two diverge in a specific, common way. The register a creator uses most often is frequently not the register that performs best for them. Picture a creator whose videos are mostly calm and slow. An average-based profile describes them as calm, because calm dominates the count. A differential can show that calm is over-represented in their weakest posts, and that the faster, sharper videos are the ones that traveled. Only one of those readings changes the next script.

ViralHits’ weekly advisor does read your own posts, and that’s a real own-account layer. What its public pages do not advertise is a persistent signature that contrasts your best posts with your worst. So rank the six below on two questions: what does it do instead of ViralHits, and does it learn what works for you?

The six alternatives

1. Blossom, if you want to know what works for your account specifically

This is ours. Blossom builds one persona per workspace, and its first section is titled “What actually works for you”: the traits over-represented in your best posts compared with your worst. Not your averages. The contrast.

Under that sit the parts an average has no slot for:

  • Voice. The descriptors that recur across your videos, who the content reaches, and your own opening lines pulled from your own posts.
  • Baseline. Your median views, your top 10%, and your best ever. This is what “good” means for your account, which matters more than a category benchmark when you have 2,000 followers.
  • Hooks you’ve never used. Openings proven in your niche that you have not used once, ranked by average views, each with a button to write a script from it.

That last section is backed by a library you can open. In Health & Fitness alone, our hook library lists more than 600 hook classes that each appear in ten or more analyzed videos, and every one links to the videos behind it. When the persona says a hook is proven in your niche, it means a specific class you can go and watch, drawn from 220,000+ analyzed videos across 17 content categories.

The persona is also blunt about what it doesn’t know. With nothing analyzed, it says everything shown is what you told us, not what we measured. With a handful of videos, it describes your style but says it can’t yet prove what works. Only once there are enough real posts with real view counts does it claim to separate your winners from the rest. Each workspace gets its own persona, so an agency’s fitness client and its software client never blend into one average.

Plans start at $9.99 a month. Creator and up open with a 7-day trial; Starter is billed from day one.

Now the honest limits. There is no free tier, and the trial asks for a card. We cover Instagram and TikTok and not YouTube Shorts. We write scripts, not footage. And if what you mainly want is outlier discovery across a long list of tracked accounts with webhooks into your own stack, ViralHits is built around exactly that.

2. Brika, if you want free creator tracking and a weekly plan

Brika tracks Instagram and TikTok creators with daily follower snapshots, a Content Radar of top posts from the creators you watch with AI breakdowns of hook and format, a weekly content plan built from what’s winning in your niche, and an AI Reel Analyzer that returns a viral score out of 100, a hook analysis and a skip-rate diagnosis. Notably, the analyzer accepts your own Insights screenshots, so it sees platform-side retention data on your Reels.

The free plan covers 3 Instagram creators and 2 Reel analyses a week. The homepage listed Growth at $17 and Agency at $99 a month, with 20% off annual and a 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan. The site says it’s in beta. A persistent per-account persona is not advertised; the weekly plan is personalized to your niche.

3. PreAlgo, if you want a grade on your own draft before posting

PreAlgo scores your video before you publish: a letter grade, a predicted view range, a retention forecast with drop-off points, hook and CTA feedback, and specific fixes, benchmarked against top performers in your niche. It covers TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

The free plan gives one analysis a month with no card. Creator is $9.99 (15 analyses), Pro $24.99 (50, adds competitor benchmarking, retention heatmaps and performance trend tracking), and Agency $79.99 (200, adds a multi-account dashboard and API access). Learning from your own past posts is not advertised.

4. Viralo, if you want a free tier with scripts and Shorts

Viralo scores a pasted video out of 100 on 15+ signals (hook, pacing, script structure, visuals, retention), and adds a script engine, a pre-publish review and a creator feed for channels you choose. It covers YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Reels.

The free tier gives 3 analyses and 1 script a month. Creator was shown at $12 a month; Pro and Agency are mentioned without prices on the homepage. Personalization to your own account is not advertised. We compared it in more depth in best Viralo alternatives.

5. Augur, if you need niche monitoring that includes YouTube Shorts

Augur is the closest to ViralHits’ outlier idea, organized around niches. It advertises always-on niche monitoring across TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts, an outlier tracker, trend alerts, AI analysis of hooks, and Excel, CSV, JSON and PDF exports.

It’s free to start with 100 one-time credits and one niche, no card required. Starter was listed at $19 a month as an early-bird price (rising toward $29), and Pro at $59. Learning your own account is not advertised. If YouTube Shorts is part of your week, Augur covers it and we do not.

6. Exolyt, if you’re TikTok-only and want analytics for free

Exolyt is TikTok analytics and social listening. The Basic plan is free with no card: one tracked TikTok account, one hashtag, daily updates and seven days of history. Paid plans were priced in our local currency when we checked, so we won’t quote a dollar figure; Advanced adds sentiment analysis, video transcriptions and an influencer database.

Instagram isn’t part of the offer, and per-video scoring or account personalization isn’t advertised. For monitoring TikTok accounts, hashtags and sounds, it’s a serious tool.

Look at the column we lose. Five of the six alternatives let you start at zero, and three cover YouTube Shorts. If your budget this month is nothing, those are the honest answers and we are not.

Picking by what you actually do

  • You like ViralHits’ outlier hunting and want to wire it into your own tools. Stay on ViralHits; its Scale plan is built for that.
  • You want to watch a list of creators for free and get a weekly plan. Brika.
  • You want a grade and fix list on your own draft before posting. PreAlgo or Viralo.
  • You need YouTube Shorts and niche-level monitoring. Augur.
  • You only post on TikTok and want account, hashtag and sound analytics. Exolyt.
  • You want to know what separates your own best posts from your worst, and which proven hooks you’ve never tried. That’s the case we make for ourselves, and it’s the only row on the table we’d fight for.

Quick answers

Is there a free ViralHits alternative? Yes. Brika, PreAlgo, Viralo, Augur and Exolyt all have a free way in. Blossom does not.

Does ViralHits learn my account? Partly. Its Pro-plan weekly advisor is built from your own posts, and outliers are scored against a creator’s recent baseline. A persistent signature that contrasts your best posts with your worst is not advertised.

Can I use ViralHits and Blossom together? Yes. ViralHits for spotting outliers across accounts you track, Blossom for learning what your own winners share and turning an unused proven hook into a script.

A last honest note

Most tools on this list are built to tell you what happened: which video broke out, which draft scored well, which creator grew. That’s a real job. The gap is the step after, deciding what you should make next, and an average can’t answer it, because the average is the post you’re trying to beat.

For the wider picture of the category, including the rows where we lose, read our honest comparison of viral video analysis tools. Our FAQ has the plan limits in full.

If the “what works for me” question is the one you actually have, the 7-day trial at signup is the fastest way to check it. Connect your account, let the persona fill in, and see whether “What actually works for you” says something your average never did. And yes, it asks for a card.
