6 Best Brika Alternatives in 2026 (Free & Paid)

People looking for Brika alternatives usually want one of two things. Some like the idea (watch a list of creators, catch what breaks out, get a plan for the week) and want a different price, platform mix or analytics depth. Others have noticed that knowing which post broke out is not the same as knowing what kind of video it was, and want a tool that answers the second question.

The short answer: if you want a free way to watch accounts and schedule posts, Metricool and Exolyt are genuinely free to start. If you want a free read on a single draft, PreAlgo and Viralo both have small free tiers. If you want to know which video formats carry your niche, so you can make another one on purpose, that’s the case we make for Blossom below, and it is the one tool on this list that costs money from the first day.

We build one of the six, so treat our description as interested and every fact on the page as checkable. Everything here was read from each vendor’s own public pages on 8 October 2026. Prices move, so check before you buy.

What Brika actually does well

Credit first, because Brika is a thoughtful product with a generous entry point. According to Brika’s own site, it tracks Instagram and TikTok creators with daily follower snapshots, a Content Radar that surfaces the best-performing posts from the creators you watch with AI breakdowns (hook type, a format insight, and “an actionable steal”), and a weekly content plan built from what is winning in your niche. Its AI Reel Analyzer returns a viral score out of 100, a hook verdict, a skip-rate read and an action plan. There’s a set of free tools (engagement calculators, a posting-schedule analyzer, comment pickers) that need no account, and Brika MCP for Claude and ChatGPT is listed as early access on every plan. The site says it is in beta.

Pricing on the day we checked: Free (3 Instagram creators, 2 AI Reel Analyses a week, 7 days of history), Plus at $9, Growth at $17, Pro at $39, and Agency at $99 a month, which adds competitor sets and 150 tracked creators. Every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.

We’ve compared ourselves to Brika twice before, on account persona and on client workspaces versus competitor sets. This page is about a third axis: the format.

Why the format is the part you can reuse

When a post breaks out, most of what made it travel can’t be repeated. The sound that happened to be rising, the timing, the lucky first batch of viewers: gone the next day. The format is different. A recipe demo, a before-and-after transformation, a comedy sketch or a day-in-the-life is a structure you can film again next week with a new topic.

Brika’s breakdowns include a format insight for each post, which is useful in the moment. What is not advertised is a browsable library of named format classes, where the same label is applied every time that structure appears, across many creators, so ten videos add up to a pattern you can open and study. That’s the difference between a note about one video and a map of your niche. We explained why borrowing a format is fair game and borrowing the execution is not in is copying a viral format plagiarism.

So rank the six below on two questions: what does it do instead of Brika, and does it tell you what kind of video you are looking at?

The six alternatives

1. Blossom, if you want to know which formats work in your niche

This is ours. Blossom analyzes any public Instagram Reel or TikTok, including videos that aren’t yours, and classifies each one into a named format. The format is a class rather than a sentence of feedback, so it carries the same name every time that shape appears, and you can open it.

Open a format and you see what it is, how many videos in the library share it, how it performs, and the example videos that define it. The largest classes in our library today include Dance Trend, Recipe Demo, Comedy Sketch, Outfit Showcase, Travel Vlog, Informational Video and Transformation, and you can narrow any of them to your own niche. Each format page also says what tends to separate the stronger videos in that shape from the weaker ones. For Transformation, the stronger side moves faster, makes a sharper promise up front, and actually delivers the “after”.

The part we trust most is that the format pages are willing to hedge. Some of them say plainly that a pattern may be partly explained by something other than the content, such as the size of the accounts that tend to post that format. We’d rather tell you that than sell you a formula.

The library sits at 220,000+ analyzed videos, 4,900+ formats and 6,500+ hook patterns. Plans start at $9.99 a month. Creator and up open with a 7-day trial; Starter is billed from day one.

Now the honest limits. There is no free tier, and the trial asks for a card, where Brika lets you start at zero. We cover Instagram and TikTok and not YouTube Shorts. We write scripts, not footage. And if your main job is watching follower curves for a long list of creators, Brika is built around exactly that and is cheaper for it.

2. Metricool, if you want free scheduling and light competitor tracking

Metricool is a social media management suite, not a content analyzer, but it covers the “watch a few accounts” part of Brika for free. The free plan includes one brand, up to 20 scheduled posts a month, five competitor profiles, 30 days of analytics, an AI assistant and a Metricool MCP connection. Starter is listed from €16 a month for up to five brands (€29 for ten), and Advanced from €43 a month adds team and client management and a post approval system.

It publishes to most major networks, including YouTube. Per-video breakdowns and format classification are not advertised.

3. Exolyt, if you’re TikTok-only and want analytics for free

Exolyt is TikTok analytics and social listening. The Basic plan is free with no card and covers one tracked TikTok account, one hashtag, account, hashtag and sound analytics, and seven days of chart history. Essentials and Advanced were priced in our local currency when we checked, so we won’t quote a dollar figure; every paid plan includes ten team members, and Advanced adds sentiment analysis, video transcriptions and an influencer database.

Instagram is not part of the offer. Hook scoring, named format classes and script generation are not advertised. If the job is monitoring TikTok accounts, hashtags and sounds, it’s a serious tool.

4. PreAlgo, if you want a grade on your own draft before posting

PreAlgo scores your own video before you publish it. It advertises a letter grade, a predicted view range, a retention forecast with drop-off points, hook and CTA feedback, and specific fixes, across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. The free plan gives one full analysis a month with no card; Creator is $9.99 (15 analyses), Pro $24.99 (50, adds competitor benchmarking and retention heatmaps), and Agency $79.99 (200, adds API access and a multi-account dashboard).

That’s a different job from Brika’s: one draft at a time rather than a radar of other creators. Named format classes across creators are not advertised.

5. Viralo, if you want a small free tier and scripts

Viralo scores short-form videos on 15+ signals (hook, pacing, script structure, visuals, retention) out of 100, and adds a script engine, a pre-publish review, and a creator feed for channels you want to monitor. It covers YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Reels. The free tier needs no card, though the homepage and the pricing page disagreed on the day we checked: the pricing page listed 2 analyses a month, Creator at $9, Pro at $22 and Agency at $59, while the homepage showed 3 free analyses and Creator at $12. All plans carry a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Format classification as a browsable taxonomy is not advertised. We’ve written a fuller comparison in best Viralo alternatives.

6. Augur, if you need niche monitoring with YouTube Shorts

Augur is the closest to Brika’s radar idea, organized by niche rather than by a creator list. It advertises custom niches monitored around the clock across TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts, outlier and momentum detection, AI analysis of hooks and posting patterns, data-backed hook scripts, PDF, Excel and CSV report exports, and Meta ads intelligence.

It’s free to start with a one-time credit allowance and one active niche, no card required (the page showed both 50 and 100 free credits on the day we checked). Starter is $19 a month as an early-bird price that rises to $29, and Pro is $59. If YouTube Shorts is part of your week, Augur covers it and we do not.

Look at the column we lose. Brika, Metricool, Exolyt, PreAlgo, Viralo and Augur all let you start at zero, and four of them cover YouTube Shorts. If your budget this month is nothing, those are the honest answers and we are not.

Picking by what you actually do

  • You like Brika’s creator radar and want to keep paying nothing. Stay on Brika’s free plan, or add Metricool if you also need scheduling.
  • You only post on TikTok and want account, hashtag and sound analytics. Exolyt.
  • You want a grade and fix list on your own draft before posting. PreAlgo or Viralo.
  • You need YouTube Shorts and niche-level monitoring. Augur.
  • You want to know which structures carry your niche, open the videos that define each one, and film the next one on purpose. That’s the case we make for ourselves, and it’s the only row on the table we would fight for.

Quick answers

Is there a free Brika alternative? Yes, several. Metricool, Exolyt, PreAlgo, Viralo and Augur all have a free way in. Blossom does not.

Does Brika classify formats? Its breakdowns include a format insight per post. A browsable, cross-creator library of named format classes is not advertised.

Can I use Brika and Blossom together? Yes. Brika for watching a list of creators and their growth, Blossom for reading what kind of video each breakout was and what separates the strong versions of that format from the weak ones.

A last honest note

Brika and most of the tools here are built to tell you what happened: which creator grew, which post broke out, which draft scored well. That’s a real job. The gap they leave is the decision before the next video, which is choosing what kind of video to make. A chart describes the outcome. A named format describes the decision.

If the format question is the one you actually have, the 7-day trial at signup is the fastest way to check it. Pick a format in your niche, open the videos that define it, and see whether it changes what you film next. And yes, it asks for a card.
