Best Modash Alternatives in 2026 (Free & Paid)
Honest Modash alternatives for 2026, checked against each vendor's own pages. Which ones find creators, which ones break down a video, and which is free.
Most people searching for Modash alternatives are actually searching for two different products at once, and the list they end up with only solves one of them.
Modash is an influencer marketing platform. Its own homepage, checked on 2026-09-20, leads with “Manage and grow your influencer program” and sells four things: discover creators, manage the relationship, track the campaign, pay the creator. It advertises 350M+ creators with 1K+ followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, pricing from $199/mo, and a 14-day trial with no card required. That is a real, well-built category, and if that is your job, several tools below do it as well or better.
But a large share of people who bounce off Modash are not looking for a cheaper creator database. They already know which videos they care about. What they want is an answer to a different question: why did that video work, and what part of it can I reuse? Modash does not advertise a per-video breakdown of a video’s hook, structure or retention, which is not a flaw so much as a scope boundary. Campaign tracking runs from reach to clicks to sales. It does not run down into the video.
This guide covers both lists. Every vendor fact below comes from that vendor’s own public pages, read on 2026-09-20. We build one of the tools here, so treat our own entry as interested and the facts as checkable.
What to actually look for
Before the list, three questions that sort this category faster than any feature matrix:
- Are you sourcing creators, or studying content? Discovery tools index people. Analysis tools index videos. Almost nobody does both well, and buying the wrong one is the usual reason a tool gets cancelled in month two.
- Does the price scale on seats, searches, or analyses? Discovery platforms in this tier mostly start around $199/mo and scale on searches, emails and tracked creators. That is cheap for a brand running twelve partnerships and absurd for a solo creator.
- How deep does one report go? A profile card with follower count, engagement rate and audience demographics is a vetting artifact. It will not tell you what to do differently in your next video.
The alternatives
1. Blossom (for reading the videos, not sourcing the creators)
We build this one. It is not an influencer marketing platform and it will not replace Modash’s job: it does not find creators for you, manage partnerships, or pay anybody.
What it does is go deep on a single video. Paste an Instagram Reel or a TikTok and the breakdown names the hook pattern and the format class it belongs to, walks the structure with timestamps, lists the individual techniques the video uses with the second each one starts and ends, marks how well each was executed, checks whether the video actually delivered the promise it opened with, and closes on the specific weakness plus the fix.
To give that a concrete shape: a 94-second sponsored food video from our library came back with nine named techniques, each time-stamped and scored, a structural read splitting the 94 seconds into hook, setup and payoff, a note on why the brand integration held rather than interrupted, and a single named weakness. That last one was a vague call to action in the caption, with the fix written out. That is the level “why did this work” needs to be answered at if the answer is going to change your next upload.
Because every analyzed video lands in one shared taxonomy, the finding compounds rather than being read once. The library runs to 220K+ analyzed videos, so the pattern you find in one Reel is filterable across the rest.
Honest gaps, all three of them. There is no free tier: every plan opens with a 7-day trial that requires a card. There is no YouTube Shorts support, Instagram and TikTok only, which matters here because Modash covers YouTube and we do not. And it writes scripts, not footage. Pricing is $9.99/mo Starter, $39 Creator, $99 Pro, Agency by contract, dropping to $8.25, $29 and $79 on annual.
2. HypeAuditor (for vetting before you pay)
The closest like-for-like on the discovery side, and the strongest option if fraud screening is the reason you are shopping. It advertises 227.5M+ accounts with 35+ search filters, and claims 95.5% of all known fraud activity detected. Platform coverage is the widest on this list: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Twitch.
Pricing is not published on the homepage, which is worth knowing before you book the call. It does advertise free media plans and a set of free Instagram and TikTok calculators, so there is a real way to touch the product before talking to sales. No per-video hook or structure breakdown is advertised.
3. Upfluence (for ecommerce-native programs)
Built around the storefront rather than the campaign. It advertises 12+ million creators, an AI assistant for recommendations and outreach, automatic promo code generation, and native integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Amazon and Klaviyo. If attributing revenue to a specific creator is the point, this is the shape that fits.
Pricing is quote-only. No per-video breakdown advertised.
4. GRIN (the genuinely free entry on this list)
GRIN advertises a free tier with no credit card required, covering basic affiliate programs with unlimited creators, links and codes, plus a marketplace network of 700,000+ creators. Premium features are quote-based. If the word “free” is what brought you to this search, this is the honest answer on the discovery side, with the caveat that the free tier is an affiliate-program tool rather than the full platform.
Its AI agent handles daily program operations, alerts and reporting. No per-video breakdown advertised.
5. Favikon (for smaller budgets and AI workflows)
Smaller index at 10M+ creator profiles and 200M+ posts analyzed across nine social networks, with creator rankings across 600+ niches and a conversational search agent. Notably, it advertises an MCP integration, so it can be called from external AI tools, which is rare in this category.
It advertises a 7-day free trial with no card required, but no genuinely free plan. Prices are not published on the homepage. No per-video breakdown advertised.
6. Aspire (for brands already deep in Shopify)
Discovery in plain language, a creator marketplace, campaign management with content approval, affiliate links and promo codes, and a native Shopify app covering recruitment, fulfilment, storefronts and conversion tracking. It cites 300K creators activated.
No pricing published and no free trial advertised, demo only. No per-video breakdown advertised.

Read the last column carefully, because it is the honest shape of this market. Six of the seven rows are creator-sourcing tools and they are good at it. One row answers a different question. Modash wins the first four columns against us outright, and on platform coverage it wins too.
Which one to pick
- You are a brand hiring creators and Modash is too expensive. Look at GRIN’s free tier first, then Favikon. Both are cheaper entries into the same job.
- You are worried about fake audiences. HypeAuditor, for the fraud screening and the filter depth.
- Your program lives inside Shopify. Upfluence or Aspire.
- You already know which videos you want to understand. Blossom, and none of the others on this list, because none of them claim to do it.
- You need YouTube. Modash, HypeAuditor or Favikon. We do not cover it.
A few direct questions
Is there a free Modash alternative? On the discovery side, GRIN advertises a free tier with no card. Modash’s own 14-day trial also needs no card, which makes it one of the easier platforms in this tier to evaluate before paying. Blossom is not free and we will not pretend otherwise.
Can Blossom replace Modash? No, and the swap goes badly if you try. It is a content analysis tool, not an influencer marketing platform. The two are complements: one tells you who to work with, the other tells you why a video performed.
Which is better for a solo creator? Almost certainly neither of the $199/mo platforms. A creator studying formats rather than hiring people is buying analysis, not a database.
If reading videos rather than sourcing creators is the job you came here for, the fastest test is to run a competitor’s best Reel through a breakdown and see whether the output tells you something you did not already know. Our honest roundup of viral video analysis tools compares that side of the market properly, including the rows we lose, and how to reverse-engineer a competitor’s Reel covers the manual version if you would rather not buy anything. The pricing and the trial terms are on the FAQ, and you can start the trial from there.
Facts for every vendor here were checked against their own public pages on 2026-09-20. Prices in this category move, so verify before you buy, including ours. We confirmed Modash’s current positioning on Modash’s own site the same day.
