This page explains how to permanently delete your account for Blossom - Viral Content Coach, available on Google Play and the App Store.
Deletion is permanent. Your analyses, uploads, and history cannot be restored afterward, and a new account starts empty.
1. Delete your account yourself
This is the fastest route and it completes immediately — no email, no waiting period.
On the web
- Go to Account → Security.
- Scroll to Danger zone and choose Delete account.
- Tell us why you're leaving (required) and, optionally, what would have kept you.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then press the delete button.
In the mobile app (iOS or Android)
- Open Settings from the navigation bar.
- Tap Danger zone.
- Tap Delete account.
- Tell us why you're leaving (required) and, optionally, what would have kept you.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap the delete button.
Your account is destroyed as soon as that request completes, and you are signed out. If you have an active subscription, it is canceled first — see section 5.
2. Request deletion by email
Use this route if you cannot sign in, or no longer have access to the account.
Email support@blossai.com from the email address on your Blossom account, with the subject line "Delete my Blossom account".
We verify the request against your account and confirm by email once it is done. We complete verified requests within 30 days, and in practice within a few business days. Sending from an address other than the one on the account means we will need to verify your identity another way before we can act.
3. What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes:
- Your profile: name, avatar, bio, website, location, and your sign-in credentials
- Uploaded content: every video and thumbnail you uploaded, deleted from our media storage
- Your analyses: all analysis results, scores, and improvement reports generated from your content
- Connected social accounts: your Instagram and TikTok connections, including the access tokens — we no longer have any access to those accounts
- Posts and metrics: posts you drafted or published through Blossom and the performance metrics we collected for them
- Personalization: your content preferences, saved and voted suggestions, and everything the product learned about your style
- Planning data: your content calendar entries and workspace configuration
- API keys: every key you created and its request logs
- Support history: your support tickets and messages
- Workspaces you own: dissolved, and their members released. Workspaces owned by someone else keep running without you.
4. What we keep, and for how long
A small amount of data survives deletion, because the law requires it or because it no longer identifies you:
- Billing and payment records — invoices and transaction history, held by us and by our payment processor. Retained as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically 6–10 years depending on jurisdiction. We never store your card number.
- Your exit-survey answer — the reason you gave when deleting, stored with your email address as product feedback. Ask us in your deletion request and we will remove this too.
- An anonymized deletion marker — a record that an account with your former ID was deleted and when. All personal fields are erased; the marker exists so a deleted account can never be reactivated.
- Aggregate and operational logs — service metrics and security logs, retained up to 12 months. These carry no name, email, or content, and are not linked back to you.
Nothing in this list is used to contact you, profile you, or rebuild your account.
5. Timing, and what happens to your subscription
- Subscription: canceled immediately, before anything is deleted. You will not be billed again. Deletion is aborted if the cancellation fails, so a deleted account can never keep charging you.
- Refunds: deleting your account does not automatically refund the current period. Email support@blossai.com before deleting if you want to discuss a refund.
- Live systems: your data is erased immediately when the in-app deletion completes, or within 30 days of a verified email request.
- Encrypted backups: residual copies age out of our backup rotation within 30 days. They are never restored into the live product.
6. Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your account to remove data. While signed in, you can:
- Delete any individual upload and its analysis — the video, thumbnail, and results all go
- Disconnect an Instagram or TikTok account, which removes its access tokens
- Delete calendar entries, drafted posts, workspaces, and API keys
- Clear the personalization data the product has built up about your content
You can also email support@blossai.com to request deletion of specific categories of data while keeping your account.
